so I really like the look of the duo 600 skimmers by maxspect. but as i was researching it I came across several people complaining about salt collection in the 90 venturi intake on the duo 600 skimmer pumps. they claim to have to clean this area often. TOOO OFTEN. like weekly airflow is reduced if no done
.

so then I looked at the jump model (orange) and they (maxspect) have completely redesigned the venturi and the locations of the intake hoses.....

so was there truth in the duo 600 having a salt build-up in the 90 bends? would you own a duo 600 or a jump model?

the better question is how do you get salt in an air intake line? salt creep develops when the water dryers out. so why is there water in the air intake line in this video?
