does anyone know if the air intake can be plumbed to an external line? I have a fresh air line that I bring into the skimmer to keep the PH up. I can't tell if the new design would prohibit this skimmer from being plumbed to an external air source.

Good question. Yes, the airlines can disconnect from the silencer by the neck of the skimmer. You simply connect the lines to the external tubing. Hope that helps!

Any word on a larger size skimmer (300-400 Gallon Heavy BIo Load) skimmer coming out soon?

I appreciate the quick reply! I'm using the SK400 skimmer and loving it, but an auto neck cleaner would make it even more awesome!

I am intrested to hear users feedback as I almost bought one of these skimmers here awhile ago prior to my purchases.
The dual intake pump and wine bottle are what attracted me. Thanks

I appreciate the quick reply! I'm using the SK400 skimmer and loving it, but an auto neck cleaner would make it even more awesome!

yes, it will help clean up the skimmer but I believe it will be sold as an optional kit as this will add up the retail price of the product if it is included as a standard component and not everyone needs one. Maybe making it compatible with third-party products will be better. Anyway, we will think about it.

Absolutely makes sense. I wouldn't want to be forced to purchase something I didn't need. Totally makes sense as an add-on item. When (if) it comes out, I'll happily throw some money at it!

Not sure what kind of feedback you're looking for, but I'm enjoying the skimmer so far. Sleek design and dual pump system is wonderful. Certainly takes up less space in my sump, which is perfect. I ran the dual air tubes outside and it's been great. Dialing it in was very simple - easiest I've worked with.
