Maxspect Anaerobic block looks weird

Hi there, I will be setting up a 600 litre mixed reef tank with a total volume of close to 700-800 litres with the sump. I got one pack of Maxspect Bio block (2 blocks 4x4x1 inch) which I will put in between the baffles and I also got a pack of the Anaerobic block (2 blocks 4x1x1) I will stack these up. Will this be enough for a reef tank of that size? I will have a sand bed and artificial rock. But the main problem is that the anaerobic blocks lion weird. They have big particles in them along with the small beads. Is there anything wrong with it? Do any of yours look like this? And was it a problem later on? Also where can I contact Maxspect about this issue? I have attached some pictures so that you guys can see. Thank you so much in advance! Any and all replies are appreciated.

I don't use those blocks but the large particales shouldn't matter any.

Getting the replacement plates(white color) is very much difficult, especially in the sub-continent.
I used these blocks for my new set up, but now i am not able to get those white plates , which as per maxspect needs to be replaced regularly.

I see thank you so much! I got it from the distributor, so it should be fine as he usually always has a regular supply of it. Do you think that the large particles will cause problems? If not I will use it in the tank. So, then, I will get several of the replacement plates just incase they run out.

The blocks seem ok to me. if you get regular supply of replacement plates, its good addition to the sump for bacteria colonization.

I see thank you so much! So I plan on making my sump a little different, with the skimmer and reactors before the refugium, so the water level would be higher in that. I plan on using the anaerobic blocks to raise the skimmer. I will put another Nano block plate over the anaerobic plates just so that there isn’t direct water flow on it. So like three plates, to Maxspect Anaerobic plates and one Maxspect Nano block plate. The aerobic ones.
