I have the maxspect gyre 250 and the apex controller as well. I was wondering if the controller will work with the new gyre?

Not sure I fully understand the question but if you have a XF250 and you want to control it via the apex you need to buy the icecap middle unit. You can do a quick search and should see the info. Don't have a link handy.

If you are talking about buying the icecap unit and then later upgrade to the new Gyre's and if it will carry forward I have no idea.

I have the 250, but want the 350. Does the old icecap module for the apex compatible with the new 350.

Got it. That I don't know. I'm sorry.

Edit: What I do know is that the new units (power head) is not backward compatible with the XF1/2/3XF series if that makes sense.

Makes sense with that. I did @askbrs if they knew the answer.
