Maxspect gyre 350 assistance

I was wondering who all out there uses the ltc cycle with their gyres, I have had to upgrade my aquascaping and the OCG does not work as well as it use to. My main question is it seems that if I make the min 20 I see almost no flow but if I bring it to 80 I see carried flow so 100 max 80 min. Not sure how to program for this setting. Attached is a picture of my tank. As you can see I have an algae issue that I think my poor flow was an issue. Also I never thought about it but for the cages what do you think is the ideal configuration for them, I do not want any loss of flow.

Unfortunately no since it was a broad spectrum of information where as I am looking for more specific in regards to the ltc setting
