Maxspect Gyre 350 Settings

I just got a pair of Maxspect Gyre 350's. This is my first experience with Gyre's and I'm blown away by all the different flow options. I've read through a bunch of threads but I'm not any closer to deciding on which settings I should run. My tank is 250 gallons and 60" long x 36" wide by 27" tall. I've got a pretty loaded mixed reef with about 50/50 sps and lps along with a handful of softies. Right now I've got it on pulsing mode which is creating a nice back/forth but would love to hear suggestions.

Not sure but I’m wanting to pick one or two of these up myself. Let us know how you like them and their Flow capabilities. I’d have them in my 750xxl but would like something larger in the future maybe 7 x 3 x 2’. Those would hopefully do well on a tank of that size.

Sorry that we could only provide very basic guides regarding what model of pump suits for what size of Aquarium, as shown in our website:

But because there are different living creatures and different landscapes in different tanks, we are sorry to tell you that there is not any common way we could guide you to set up Gyres. But there are 2 basic rules of setting the gyres up, 1st to keep a full water circuiltation as much as possible in your tank, 2nd try not to let the flow to mess up your animals and sands. Therefore, it needs you to spend a little time of trying to find out the best location, best installation and best setting up of gyres in your tank. Please give it a try and have fun.
