MAXSPECT GYRE CONTROL

On the website the gyre apears as Apex Ready +. What does this mean in terms of control and would it require additional hardware (such as the new advanced xobtroller from Maxspect) is it required to achive this.

For now it means that you will need the IceCap adapter to make it happen. Down the road if you have their new controller box, you will be able to control the Gyre and the Ethereal from the Apex over WiFi using our new IoTa (Internet of Things, Aquarium) standard.

That means that it would require not only the Advanced controller from Maxspect but also their wifi unit that connects to the advance controller. But it is good to know. Thanks for the quick reply Terence. By the way even if not yet sure whether I will go APEX or Profilux 4, I have signed up to your YouTube channel: I love your videos! Particularly the ones at interzoo with those two crazy German guys [emoji1].
