What setting would choose for a set it and forget situation. I have it up and running in alternate mode for 4 hour intervals. I also have an mp60 and an mp40. I think alternate mode on gyre and MPs on reef crest at different times of the day. What are your thoughts.

I'm debating the same thing. I think it's all about tinkering and exploration. I'm going to try vertical corner first, then add the MP40 on reef crest opposite side of my 72" start at 10% power and slowly crank it up while I watch how my corals/clams respond. I think it's all about finding a happy balance of moving water and keeping your fish/corals happy.
