Maxspect gyre not saving program

I have the maxspect gyre xf250 with advanced controller. I have two pumps hooked up to the controller. It works great when I take the time to program the controller to do what I want.

I program the controller to do 100% >>> then the other pump goes to 50% (<( (random) then after 2 hours the pumps switch.

The issue I have is that I have the controller plugged into apex so I can control the pumps to feed the tank. The gyres turn off for 7 minutes when I feed. The issue is the controller doesn't save my program. When the outlet cones back on, the controller defaults to a different program at 50%

NOT COOL!

How can i get the pumps to save my program and still utilize the apex outlet (and now alexa!) for feeding?

I don't think it should be dumping the programming with only 7 minutes without power. I'd contact them for support regardless. I recall there was an issue in the past with the B side or something dumping and a firmware update corrected that.

Otherwise, you could go with an Icecap interface module and use the Apex itself to control it. Or, add the battery backup to the Gyre. When the Apex cuts power it would at least drop down to the lowest speed.
