Maxspect gyre problems

Hey guys just picked up a maxspect gyre 230 with the controller but I am having an issue. I set everything up got the pump mounted in the tank and controller and power box mounted in the stand and go to plug everything in and get nothing. The power box isnt even lighting up or nothing. Did I get a junk cord or something or am I missing something. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I would disconnect the pump and try to power it up with just the power supply connected. Make sure you have the cord into the DC brick and the connection between the controller and the DC brick plugged in all the way.

Im not even getting power to the box. The green led is not even coming on. Prett sure i have a junk power cable. Contacted maxspect already and hopefully i get a new power supply sent to me

The only reason I would try it without the pump attached is to see if a short in the pump is causing the power supply to crowbar and keeping voltage too low to power up. Its a quick and easy verification.

Plugged in my power cord from my light and it powers right up ! Have a new power cord coming from maxspect so we are all good !
