Hey all, hope some one can explain this to me in more detail. I have 2 fx250 on my tank , recently set it to ltc mode. Can anyone explain what the D1,D2,D3,D4 display mean or do ?

That is to mimic the day of the lunar cycle. It is used on the LTC and OGC modes. In my case I prefer the OGC mode.

Never tired OGC mode, what is your experience with it ? U keep alot of sps would that mode be good for sps ? Does it generate turbulance ?

To be honest i have softies and several SPS. What i like of OGC versus LTC is that the water movement is more gentle. I have it ramping up to 80%. The only thing I don't like on the Controller is that on those settings when you disconnect or the electricity comes off the lunar cycle will start again.

Perhaps is because i also have a SeaSwirl in the middle and a Jebao RW-15 on the other side until I get the other XF-250.

my 230's on ogc mode generate a fair amount of turbulence. I have it set to random and opposite. Set-up vertically on back each end of tank i can notice it pooling sand towards center of tank. I have some pallys, zoas, toadstool, hammer and singular. Much nicer looking, except my hammer hasnt really blossomed much. Fish seem to enjoy it. I tried half a dozen other modes and wasnt happy with the chaos. Really thing with the right rock placement and some acros it would be great for SPS.
