Anyone of you cleaver reefers figure out a good way to keep to keep small snails out of your Maxspect gyre?

good question , seems to be the problem with those. which one do you have and what tank is on . I am leaning towards a 150 on my new 75 build.

There isn't that I know of but I doubt it would be hard to make. Honestly I had to remove all my small and dwarf Ceriths bc of this. I now only have snails that are too large to get through.

I have the 150 on my 72 gallon Red Sea Reefer. I have the control mounted on back side of aquarium which probably isn't ideal but works best for me. Because of its location I don't always notice that gyre has stopped. It is always because of tiny snail.

Anyone have protective netting that they can sell by the foot? I see whole rolls online like on Uline, but don't need a lifetime supply. I'm sure it's the same thing Maxspect uses, they don't even list it on their site for sale though.

I bought my gyre xf-130 in 2015, and it came with a foam guard. I just purchased Icecap 3k MESH guards, and they're a perfect fit.
