I know this is sold, but I have been thinking of replacing my 3 ph with one of these. How do you like it in your cube? I was wondering if they worked as well in a cube as they do in a traditional rectangular tank. I have a 45 cube.

It works well but you will have to turn it down since it is a short distance. Also, your rockscape dictates the effectiveness of the gyre. I had to get two due to my scape. In the end, it worked out better because it allow me to have an alternating current within my system.

Scape was a big worry for me. I was thinking I could put it vertical in the back corner and it would circulate around the whole tank and behind the rock. Or it could just bounce off the front glass and blast the middle of my rock and nothing else lol. Thanks for the input!
