Ive had this pump for about 6 months. Im getting so tired of a little peice of sand getting stuck in it and stopping it. Feels like an old car.

Fwiw a jebo is way cheaper and doesnt stop like this.

I don't doubt it!!

But (if you know) how is sand getting up into the pump - is the pump near the bottom?

(A grain of sand in the wrong place is all it takes to give just about any pump problems.)

Actually its not at the bottom. Its at the top. However the problem is actually that the blades keep breaking and jamming it. So ill have to buy the new stronger blades. Sucks.

So no idea what's causing the blades to break? That must be annoying.

Not sure but id guess something hard, sand or a tiny snail. Wish they would sell titanium blades, id buy them.

Mm. Seems odd that they are breaking without any known issue.
I know the small snails and such can get in there and cause them to stop.
I've got the new upgraded blades and can tell you that they move more water and I like them.
