I just purchased 2 xf250 pumps and controller and recieved a 24V power supply. I thought it should of came with a 36V power supply. Can anyone verify that their xf250 has a 36V power supply?

CoralVue Website says 24V output on the power supply.

If anyone that has a set of these can verify that they are supposed to be 36V that would be great.

I would contact CoralVue support, they seem to have pretty good customer service. I had to work with them on my Maxspect Ethereal.

I never bought it through them. But yeah I could pose the question to them.
It doesn't matter, they will honor their product. They never questioned where I got mine.

CoralVue is for US only, Maxspect.ca is what we have to deal with in Canada (where OP seems to be listed). Else you'll get the below reply:

Thank you. Since you are located in Canada, you will need to contact the Canadian distributor for all support and warranty claims. We can only support products within the US.

You may contact the Canadian distributor at [email protected].

Hmm, didn't know that, I thought they did all of North America (including Canada) but I wouldn't be surprised if they were US exclusive.

We get... "special treatment", with a lot of vendors up here. On the wrong side of the border with this hobby, that's for sure.

The kicker is the warranty card in the actual pump box says only go through CoralVue, just to add more confusion to the party.

I got a response from coralvue and she said that it should be 24V output but wanted to know where I saw 36V. Still would like to hear from anyone who has a xf250 controller to see whether they indeed do have a 24V or 36V power supply.

I can see why that would be frustrating, that's sad too because we here in the States usually have a good relationship with businesses in Canada but it doesn't seem to go the other way around, especially in more specific things like reefkeeping. Y'all can have Asian Arowanas though so that's not fair to us in the States haha

I have a 250 new in the box at home so I can't check it right now but I could have sworn it had a 24V power supply. I'll have to confirm later.

Same here just checked mine just for the heck of it... 24V here and it doesn't have any issue running both of my 250's.
