Maxspect new controller for gyre

hey all! Anyone who has a new style controller for the maxspect gyre (I run the 230)-I need help deciphering why it's not doing what I want it to do.
Here's how it's set up: (the highlighted setting is 20s) (im hooked up to the B pump , I only have one and I can't turn the A off on the controller so it looks like it's running but it doesn't have anything connected to the A)

Now...it SHOULD do this:
20 second ramp up to +30%, run for 2 minutes, 20 second ramp down to -30%, run for 2 minutes, off for 2 seconds.

What it's doing:
10 sec ramp to +30%, run for 5 seconds, 10 sec ramp to -30%, run for 5 seconds, off for 5 seconds.

Can anyone help me try to figure this out? I can't find the best setting for my tank if the controller isn't functioning the way it should.

I just bought one , been trying to get it programmed. Some BS! I'm gonna give it away. Just gonna get a MP 10 or a hydor to replace it.

It was messing with me too. Hook it up to the A port. And try again maybe? It took me a while to figure out that it needs to be set at negative for it to not run in reverse. The directions are absolute crap.

Yes their .... waste of money in my case. Just gonna get a mp 10 or a hydor. Just trying to move water on the back wall of my tank

I did manage to get the 2 running opposite of each other while one is ramping up forward the other is ramping up backwards. I had a friend help me and we both agreed we didn't know quite how we did it ! LOL

I love mine, I think it's a great pump and it does what it's supposed to do. The directions stink, and the controller is counterintuitive. Once you figure it out it rocks.

I saw the backwards ramp as well. I can get it running but the timing is completely off. Ramp up and down and running times are jacked. I still have it set to random pulse right now.
