Does anyone have opinions on the Maxspect Razor 300w 16K? I currently have a 6-bulb T5 system on my 110 gallon (60" long) tank. I'm looking to upgrade and was curious if anyone local had feedback. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I've been tempted with these for the longest. I've never ran one, but have setup a few and seen them in action. I think they are great for smaller tanks. I wouldn't want one on a larger tank. I'm just not sold on the coverage area. I think most of use who have of have had larger tanks all did multiple pendants. I had 3 over my 125. I think that's the best way to go.

Thanks for the feedback. Have you seen the 4' 16K fixture? What version did you have over your 125? (8K, 10K or 16K and what wattage?)

I run the 120w 10k maxspects over a 4' tank and love it. Over a 6', I'd go with three of the 120w's

Our store uses 2 of the 300w maxspects over a 6' tank, and I don't like it. The 300w's have a much wider lens than the 120 and 160w's. I just don't like the coverage of the 300w. I would always stick to one 120w per 2' section on a tank.
