Maxspect Razor help

Ok so i have a 90 gallon reef tank, currently using a 2 bulb t5 and a China led. Found a guy on craigslist selling a maxspect 300 watt for 200 bucks. Well when I showed up to pick it up he threw in the 4 bulb t5 hybrid from brs with 4 new ati bulbs and a doser pump. (I feel like I got the greatest deal ever lol) so my question is how to introduce the lighting? And if anyone has a good forum on dosing?

I’ve been running razors for about 3 1/2 years.

Are you going to have the razor at the same height as your current lights?

About 2 inches higher than current

What corals do you have? Mixed reef? Nems?

Ok. I’m sure you know that without measuring par etc, everything is a guess.

I would start at 50-60% and see how things react.

Work your way up or down from there.

And just run the t5s a couple hours a day?

I would run them and the razor on the same time schedule they have been on.

Minimize change.

So what would be a good ramp up and down schedule with the maxspect and the t5s (t5s 4 bulbs two on each side separate pugs)?

Got a pic of your tank?

What all livestock do you have?

Are you having any algae or nutrient problems as lighting will have an effect.

A few acan and lps not much IMO. 2 tangs 2 clowns a Mandarin and a few nems. Yes I have been fighting gha forever and can't get my nitrates to register at all.

I ramp mine up 2 hours to my max intensity.

6 hours at peak

2 hour ramp down.
