maxspect razor owners

I have been looking at replacing my t-5s with these but wonder what everyones experience has been with them? You like them?
pro? cons?
I will have to buy 4 so it's not an easy decision to make when i have lighting already that works, just bulb replacement on 4x4 bulbs is too costly:cry:

Ive read alot of good things on them, only bad thing ive read is that they seem (the 16k version) looks pink when all the colors are turned up.

I don't own them but I have read that they can have a bad disco ball effect as well as a pink look when all colors are on.

Mine have really colored up my corals compared to my AI SOL Blue's.. I would highly recommend them!

Thanks for the advice all, I am leaning towards getting them, I may just try one and see how i like it before i get 4.

I've seen 6 of them run on a 150 gallon tank they look beautiful and grow sps very nicely

i just need them on 40 breeders so i can keep an anemone in each one.

Hi Rhino56,

I have the 27" 16000k on my 36" 58 gallon aquarium, and replaced a 6 bulb t5 fixture. So far everything has responded nicely except some Green Slimer I have at the very top. I jumped the gun and tried to push the out put to 55% from 35% too quickly, and they didn't respond well. Other than that coral, everything else is doing well. The light looks nice, and as others said it does have the pinkish hue to it, but it helps bring out a bit of color. I hope this helps.

I have 2 of them over my 90 gal and the corals seem to love it. Quality Cree LEDs with great par readings. May be one of the best bargains out there. I own the 10k version. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
