maxspect razor r420r help

I have been running with the 120 lenses and noticed less shimmer than with the 90 stock lenses, but in a good way. Before it was like a disco ball. Now it is more blended in. Great light and getting awesome coral growth. I am still only pushing 45% W and 100% B. Working up to max 75% over a month.

I can't believe how blue everybody has their settings at. I have mine peak for 5 hours at W:65 B:60 And it's still blue. I ramp up the whites first, then blue, then around 8pm the whites ramp down to 0, then blues. I have a 300watt over my 4ft 75g and coverage is awesome. So far I really like this light. Can't wait to see what happens long term.

Received my lenses on Friday but was a little under the weather over the weekend. Will attempt to install tonight

I have a deep blue 60G frag tank 48X24X12 height. I am using my 160W razor I had over my 40 breeder. If I raised the light to maybe 16 inches and included the new optics would it give a pretty good spread. Right now I'm using the brackets and there is about 10 inches of low light or no light over the ends. Thanks!

Do you light reach you sides or is it dark? I have the same one

I use the 90 degree optic with the bracket, and the disco shimmer is getting really annoying. Can someone who use the 120 optic take a picture of the shimmer ? THanks in advance

Yes but I had the fixture mounted via the brackets. I have since hung it about 14-15
Inches above the water and it helped. I got my 120 optics yesterday.
I'll post pics later today. I have it hung the same height and there is less shadowing
Even over the center brace there is now not a shadow line protruding into the tank.
I'll post review later. I do think the optics are worth it too early to tell what settings
For use over my 48 inch length by 12 inch high tank.

Here is my 120 degree lenses. The tank is 48 inches. The light is maxed out
For whites and 15% for blues. The light hits all the tank. My light is hung
To the right over the tank so the left side is a little darker but not much
If my light was better centered light would hit all areas of tank. The tank is
24 inches deep

Here is right side of tank with a fair amount of light

The install for the optics was fairly easy just unscrewing some fastening screws
Where the fans are located the new optics slide right in. The directions are
Included and definitely helped out. I ordered through around depot
About a 3 day turn around. It was about 15 dollars per module x 3, plus a few
Bucks shipping. I'm pleased for now. It is going to take some time to acclimate
And figure out how long and what intensity to get the best response
In the tank as it is 12 inches high. It was definitely cheaper than buying another
Light for the time being it works for me. Zoas on periphery of spread are opening
I'll see how the SPS do. The SPSin the lower left are acclimating
I have some clove polyps and zoas towers the front and back of the 24 inch
Wide tank that are opened as well and seem to be responding.

Here are the old followed by the new optics.
