hello everyone, new to this forum and looking for some input.

I currently have a razor 160w 16k light and im not sure if I'm going to keep it. I'm in the process of setting up an sca 50 gallon and I'm not too sure how well this light will do. those of you with this light how well is the growth? do you guys recommend keeping it or should look into a different light? I plan to have a mixed reef and don't want to be limited on coral selection by my light and I feel like this light won't have the full spectrum required. any input would be much appreciated
thanks everyone

I have that same light on my 29 gallon and here's what it looked like before my crash. The light was not the cause of the crash though.

I have 2 on my Red Sea. I do have 2 single bulb t5 fixtures mounted to the maxspect in addition, which I highly recommend. Tanks doing great

What were your guys settings? And did you need the t5 because the maxspect was not enough?

7a- a0%. B1%
11a- A10%. B15%
1p- A30%. B70%
3p- A60%. B90%
8p. A0%. B50%
11p. A0%. B0%

Tank did great with just the maxspects but I did see an increase in growth after adding the t5s.

Any one know how this would compare to the ocean revive t247

thanks for the settings and info guys, I'm going to slowly acclimate to those settings.

if any one knows how the maxspect compares to the t247 I would appreciate it.
thats the light I was thinking of trying out before resorting to a higher end light like the AI lights
