I am new to reef tanks but I am getting started with a hand me down setup. My friend gave me a 30g bow front measuring in at 24" long, 14 3/4" wide and 20 3/4" tall. Would this light setup work for my tank? Thanks

It should work. I have it on my 40 gallon breeder, which is 36" long.

How old is it? Are you the only owner? What light schedule were you using on it?

I'm the second owner. Previous owner said he only used it for less than a year before he put it on storage. I only have it for 4 months, upgrading to Kessils. Light schedule is 10 hours with max of 60% blues and 20% whites.

Sorry dude... I have the same one... just wanna see if I got boned on mine... Its a great light... I had to switch to this from a T5/MH hybrid cause I couldnt find the halide bulbs anymore... good light though...

All good. I think they are pretty capable lights. If only I didnt get a good deal on a new kessils I wont get rid of it.
