I buy this light, but what seems to me very strange that there are not a lot of review from hobbyist about this light. Please please and one more please share your expirience with this light

I own the maxspect rsx 200w. I have honestly nothing bad to say about it. Its one of the cheapest quality led fixture and just works for me. I keep softies till acros with very nice growth and coloration.

I just got some par numbers on my maxspect recurve 24”. I will post tomorrow night the breakdown but I was very happy to see that it is creating tons of even par. I could tell after one week the spread of the light was awesome and coloration of my sps started improving after one week.
This replaced my giesman. Aurora 24”.

Using apogee 520 I was getting 350 par on top “6 and 150 at center bottom and 175 bottom front edges on my Red Sea max e 170 (24”24”)

Light setting was roughly 70% max settings on all channels.
This thing is cracking out great numbers.
More to come

Why did you replace a giesemann aurora? I felt like those are a holy grail of lighting.

The aurora is a great light fixture but I could only mount it using the tank mount arms which set it only about 6” off the water. With that height limited height and the tall nature of my aquascape, the T5’s were not blending well. Also one center led cluster is inferior to two clusters (spread wise).
The recurve has two pucks and the adjustable led strips seem to blend better than the t5s on aurora.
So really it was just a limitation as they related to my particular setup. I really think the warm white leds on the maxspect recurve and the newer Radeon pros might be secret sauce stuff.
