U know what, I’m done with these pumps!
I own 6 of these pumps, and a-big problem is I just ordered 4 more.
Cleaning these things is a nightmare.
I just broke the the ceramic shaft trying for a 3ed time to clean the magnic on a brand new 250.
These pumps are great for water movement, but if u can’t clean them there useless.
U can’t beat the ease of cleaning a mp40!!

Yeah, I ditched the gyre for two MP40s and cleaning is a cinch..

Sorry to hear. I'd send them an email and see what they say. Having said that I have a pair that I've deployed since April with no issues. The cleaning like you said is a pain compared to others but after running through the cleaning cycle it is pretty quick and painless now. In fact I've since removed one and use it has a spare to swap out for this very reason.
