May Meeting!!!

Ok everyone, Summer is here and the typical lack of interest in our tanks has set in on everyone! We need to get back on track and start planning our august frag swap before its to late.
I will plan to host a meeting Mid or end of May, We can plan a saturday or sunday afternoon meeting with with grilling, bonfire, hayrides for brandon, and outdoor fun. Plus I will clean the coraline off the glass of my tank and see if it is still alive. If you have certain dates you cant make it post here and I will make a final date in a week or two.

I will be OOT the weekend of the 15th, so not then if possible. And can we shoot Brandon in the calf? He seemed to live through that last time. And are you going to let kids do the hayride with Brandon, or are they JUST for Brandon?

Generally Sunday afternoons at 2pm. Saturday was not a good day for a meeting (sorry Jim). Those of you who missed Jim's tank really missed out. He's got a great set up and a beautiful tank!!!

I think I am good for any day in May except for Mothers day weekend which is the 9th I believe.

I think we should avoid Mother's day altogether..... And Brandon, you ARE getting something for your wife for mother's day, aren't you? Remember that DIAMONDS are a girls best friend!!!

Susan you are getting alittle payback with brandon! I like it. HEHE! I didnt say anything about guns cause there could be kids around, and new members who arnt excited about target practice. For those of you coming that are interested in target shooting you can bring firearms, just keep them in the car and at the end of the meeting we can target shoot.

We have lately started having sunday afternoon meetings, It seemed more people could make it on sundays. But we do saturdays as well. Normally our meetings consist of getting together around 1 or 2 PM and eating lunch. hang out and talk about the hobby, answer questions, and critisize the hosts tank!

This meeting we will take alittle time to discuss the upcoming frag swap and set some dates. For you new guys who may not know what a frag swap is, You will enjoy it!

May is a rough month for me. I currently have two weekends open May 1/2 and 15/16. This is the time of year that my employer decides to hold most of the annual training classes and I have several to teach this month in Jacksonville FL. I am interested in the planning of the August frag swap so I will do what I can to make it.

I would love to try to make it out this time. I've been trying to plan to everytime but things have been very hectic for me! My new sonewas born Apr 6th. So the later in the month the better for me, As hopefully the pollen will be down and we can get him out for more than a couple hours!

Congrats on the new baby!!! I thought Saturdays were bad because people were working/doing family things and Sundays were better. I know that Alex and Bryan work on Saturdays (when do you all get off?). Just seems like all the Saturday times have had poor attendence.

Would love to meet all you new people. If you let us know you are coming we'll try to bring some frags (if you are interested in them) when possible (you can always say no if you don't want them).

We can plan for a sunday, I would prefer mid to end of may, So we have the 16th, 23rd and 30th. 23rd would be tough for me with my wife working that weekend. So I prefer 16th or 30th.
