We have had this zoa colony since August and all of a sudden it was staying closed in a small corner. A day or two ago something sprouted and explains why it was unhappy. Anyone recognize what this is and how to remove it? I tried to grab it off with tweezers and a soon as I got close it retreated down and I couldn't see it to remove it. Any help is appreciated!

Sure looks like aiptasia; I like Aiptasia X for treatment and you'll find other "remedies" by searching this blog. Be careful about stressing it as it can and will release spores. Good luck
