Hi everyone
So my current set up I have is using tmc aquabeam lighting with a smart control unit which has cost me not shy of £700!!! And 4 years in the control unit has died, and some of the LED bulbs have died. So I think it is time for a change.

I don't need lights for corals as I have an artificial reef but like a set up that has a RAMP timer for the sunrise to sunset so makes it nicer for the fish and I have control over the times. TMC was great for this but after 4 years not impressed it has died!

Any recommendations would be great.

If your tank is fish only (or at least no photosynthetic beings) look at Current Orbit (assuming they are sold in the UK?). The leds look fairly bright to our eyes, but they are only 0.5 watts and the intensity doesn't penetrate very deep for corals. But they work great for fish and they have good control for sunrise/sunset and color mixing.

Thanks will check them out and see what is available in the UK
