Its MODULAR!

2.) What features would you like to see added to the Mazarra?
I would also like the possible addition of active cooling instead of just passive, I mean passive is good, but active is better I think.

3.) What mounting option would work best with you aquarium setup?

A suspended mount would work best for my tank, and In my option it looks cleaner.

4.) What color option would be most desirable for your setup?

White would work great, But if I had huge sums of cash, I would do a Cherry Red and White combo.

EcoTech Radion, AI SOL, or an AI Nano

Currently over the 95g tank we have a Current USA MH fixture, with 2, 250w 14k pheonix bulbs and 4 PCs.
Over a 18g nano build I have a DIY LED over it, inside the hood.

The ability to connect multiple units for versatility , optional wireless control unit to control weather mode, photo period mode and dawn dusk mode. The swapping optics and being able to choose/mix and match led's. Low energy consumption and design.

Some kind of andriod/Pc app to possibly monitor temp, adjust photo period,basically anything you could control from the controller itself but through other outlets.

1)
The most important features in my opinion is a) the programmability: I love that it has a built in feature that lets you program it for day and night cycles... no more dealing with timers and multiple plugs to work with. Convenience is key with this feature.
b) the big concern nowadays is electric costs going up, and lighting is expensive to run. Knowing that this is energy efficient and stays cool is a huge plus. Something like this ends of paying for some of itself due to savings in electric costs
c) the fact that led's last so much longer than traditional lights is another huge plus. It's such a hassle to have to change out light bulbs which are very expensive every 8-12 months. Not having to switch out bulbs constantly is so convenient. Not to mention the incredible light quality LED is capable of.
2) Maybe a cool lighting effect that looks like the way the sun does on the ocean floor, it kinda shimmers, not a constant ray of light like most tanks have due to there not being waves and other things that affect the way the light reflects on the ocean floor.
3) Canopy lighting would work best for me because my ceiling isnt the best for mounting, but if I had the ability, I would definitely suspend it.
4) Black.
5) I haven't considered LED lighting due to my sunk cost of being invested in an expensive t-5 fixture. At the time that I was searching for lighting, not enough was known about LED lights, in hindsight, I would have probably picked LED's now that I have spent a lot of money on replacement bulbs,
6) I currently have a 6 bulb t5-ho fixture from currentUSA, called the nova extreme.

I like the look of the mounting system. I also like how the system is modular, allowing to expand with additional modules.

Not sure... They seem pretty well designed. Maybe make the fan standard instead of optional?

I'm considering a DIY with Steve's LEDs and I'm also looking at the Bridgelux kits by Aqua Style.

I just moved and sold my last reef. It had 250 MH lighting, though. I am going to go LED with my current 120g build.
