Hello all,

I have a nice blue maze brain that I have noticed brown spots forming (I will add a picture later today). Any idea what these are? Too much light maybe?

Thanks!

Here are some Picts

Any ideas out there in R2R land?! I moved this guy to a lower light/flow area of the tank to see if any changes. Nothing yet, but will keep this post up to date if any changes.

It looks a little bit like the skeleton poking through the tissue, and some algae has started to grow on the skeleton. Otherwise the coral looks really happy. I would keep it where it's at and maybe even target feed it when you feed your fish to help it recover faster.

Cool...thanks for the advice! I have been feeding all my LPS with Coral Frenzy. I may try and see if it will take some mysis too.

Here is an updated picture I took today with white lights on...might show areas better

I'm sorry but that doesn't look so good. I see a lot of tissue recession. I'd move it to a lower light area if possible.
I have a Brain going through something similar.

I had a similar issue with mine. It ended up being my blenny perching on it too much wearing away the tissue in parts.

Also, that's not a maze brain.
