I had this coral I've been holding for a buddy in my tank for about a month. Recently upgraded my tanks, and it was a simple swap over, nothing extreme.

All parameters are in check.

Salinity - 35ppt
Nitrate - 5
Mag - 1350
Alk - 9
Calc - 470
Temp - 78

All other corals are thriving really well.

Biggest changes are going from 2 Ai Prime Hds to a 4 bulb hybrid with same Ai Primes

The puzzling thing was it took only 3 days to get to this point.

Any thoughts?

What do you mean it was a "swap over"? Did you move everything including sand and rocks and bio media?
Also, it seems that you increased the amount of light. Do you know what Par it was getting before compared to now?
IMO, that coral looks pretty much gone.

I went from a 55g to 90g display. New sand but i used about 50lbs of rock from my 55g in the 90g. Also added 40g of that water. Into the 90g in 3 different water changes for some nutrients. Whole process was about 2 weeks when I finally had everything transfered. Daily testing everything.

In the 55g he was mid tank with the Ai directly on him. Not sure of par but was extremely happy and colorful.

I turned down my Ai prime to 50% in the new tank to help with the new lights.

Like I said within a short time he turned into that. This morning his sweeper tenticles was out still however.
