Hi all, I have a question about my McCosker Wrasse. He has this 1/8" or so diameter grey spot on his head. I aquired him as a juvenile and he is still young. I had him for about 2-3 months before I noticed the spot, and it's been around for a month now.

I'm not real concerned because he is one of the most active fish in the tank, has no bullies and eats very well. I have not seen this mark on internet photos as a natural feature for this species. Anyone have any input or seen this with there younger Wrasse. ThamTh

Excuse my terrible photo, my Google Pixel is horrid at taking pictures in LED. But you can see the spot right above the eyes.

Looks like maybe a contusion from hitting it's head. It should heal fine.

Hmm, well it has been there awhile and is still the same since the thread posting. I hope it goes away if it's not supposed to be rhere normally.

Yea you're right. Just wanted to make sure no one was gonna be like "oh yeah thats blank disease, it's very infectious and your whole tank will die, and your dog"

If your dog gets it I’m done with the hobby!!!!
