What wrong with him? He's been swimming all weird like this for the past ten minutes flashing at the same time. Maybe he is exerting energy maybe it's his reflection???? I am not sure but is this normal? And if not what's wrong with him...also first time I fed him brine shrimp don't know if that got something to do with it. Won't let me download the video anyways....he's swimming back and fourth throughout the tank really fast and flashing he is swimming right next to the glass. Sometimes he will randomly flip out and twirl or something. The other fish in the tank seems to be fine he's in hiding. Added images from the video.

Turned the light off he stopped and then went to hide. the lights are now back on (moon light, white light was on for video purpose).

Could he be seeing his reflection. Mine swims kind of whacky, flashing at everything, sometimes then he returns to normal.

Yea he bumps into the glass as well...poor guy probably scared...but hes seen his reflection so much not sure why hes flipping out now

Yes, he's showing off to defend his territory against the other fish through the glass! (himself) :)

He'll probably quit after a few weeks.

Mine does this every time I clean the glass and to a lesser extent, every evening after feeding. I see it as normal flasher wrasse behavior based on my experience but perhaps I'm wrong. I would be more worried if he wasn't flashing.

He is still going at it, I just fed him and seemed a little bit occupied by flashing his reflection. He only ate a little.

Some flashers tend to flash often and others not often at all. The flashers I have had I never once witnessed flashing. I've only had three and perhaps for three years in total I ended up selling them for other wrasse. I would say you're lucky he flashes this is one of the unique and sought after characteristics of these fish IMO
