From TX near Dallas. I've been in the hobby for 6-7 years now. Biggest tank owned was 180G. I now have 7 tanks and one 1 running on my desk at work. I work with LEDs and arduinos for lights. My goal right now is to perfect my 5G nano. I do a small water change every day that totals out to 20% every week. I have an ATO and small t5s over it right now. Contains a tux urchin, target mandarin and sexy shrimp. I an a few snails.

I'll update pics soon. O and don't freak out! I've owned mandarins for years and have more experience with them then any other fish. Mine is plump and happy.

Haha. Well I've never had more then 4 running at a time. But like many other reefers, I hoard tanks and equipment. It's just te nature of the beast.

Welcome, I have one tank and it's a handful.

About to finish an led light. Should be around 30-35w of potential power. By chips advertised power it adds up to 45w. I'll run it at 50-75%.

Well I'm missing a few resistors so I can finish the light but I have a white and blue single chip 20w led on.

awesome! and welcome! you look like you're gonna be an awesome addition to the community already! I love your desk tank! And we totally understand the tank hoarding I think we have 7-8 running right now as well.. mostly freshwater though.. plecos and cories and giant danios breeding like crazy! We thought about turning a 10g into a mini nano reef, so it is so awesome that you are already posting pics of your 5g! thanks!

Lol "my area" is 2 hours from the nearest store. Well... At least a store you would buy anything that's not in a box or can. But I'm a big fan of neptunes cove in dfw.
