They’re starting to become a little hard to come across, got mine from Bio Reef, I’ve seen a few online stores but it’s spotty when they have them in stock. I have the Panamic Barnacle Blenny

nitrate is up to 5ppm! Cyano is dying and falling off the rocks and glass. I moved my first stony coral from the other tank over - my Aussie plate (pardon the cyano she decided to grab). Later this week I’ll probably move my acans over. I’ll continue my same feeding schedule, and if nitrate continues to rise I’ll start out with a couple very small wcs per week and work up as needed.

The Cyano will show up if you have good enough light almost regardless of nutrients I have started to think. I did the blackout method and dosed a small amount of the chemiclean and it knocked it out and the rest of the stuff in the rocks I couldn’t see. Tank bounced back nicely afterwards.
loving your set up. Those rocks you’ve got are cool as shtt too. this size of tank would be perfect for the Fluval sea nano light.

I actually added a par38 bulb ON TOP of the light I had been using before, but it still continued to die off. Let’s hope it doesn’t change its mind and decide to soak it up

I didn’t look into that light before buying my par38, but it’ll go on my list to look at if (when...) I set up another tank. I didn’t want anything mounted on the tank for this one, the glass is pretty thin and with it being rimless I don’t want any unnecessary stress

Still trying to get that pompom crab from the 36g... I’ve just updated the light to run at 1% all night, so hopefully I’ll be able to see if it comes out without scaring it with a flashlight

I got some small sealable containers so I can mix up some different fish foods for ease of feeding. Below are the ones I have to try out:
top: dry fish foods
Bottom: dry coral foods
I’ve been feeding ocean nutrition’s nano reef pellets, and I’ve only used dry coral food once or twice. Any recommendations? For the fish I’m thinking ocean nutrition and some of the dr bassleer food.

I moved my acans over yesterday, and they seem to be doing ok! They’re a bit too big for the spot I chose though, so I’ll have to do a bit of rearranging
