Thanks!Welcome to R2R!!! Looking good!
welcome in,,torch that anthelia before its too late
Thanks! It hasn't been easy.Welcome to R2R! Looks great and I'm very impressed that you have funded this on your own!
You won't find much that will kill that stuff, it'll just go around it. If you like it, try to isolate it somewhere that it can't reach out to another rock and spread. Its not bad to look at, but it is a weed, and will take over if you let it. I grew a sump full of it on a tank I used to have.I know. The thing is it is actually spreading really slow and looks really nice. I'm transitioning into more aggressive corals that should kill it off any ways. If not how do I kill it off
Thanks guys!welcome! nice looking tank! I started at the age of 17 with salt water you're going to do great and learn a ton here!
the anthela can grow out of control fast, a little hot fresh water in a turkey baster to the base of it wont throw off your salinity and will kill it off so you can peel it from the base
Welcome @Reef kid ! Your tank looks Great! Do your friends think your crazy (I am 15 and mine think I am fish crazy) for spending so much time and money in this hobby?
are you feeding live pods regularly to the Mandarin Goby?? they can be very picky eaters.
They've gotten used to it... Doesn't stop the glazed over lookin their eyes whenItalkabout it though... Same with my parents lol
not knocking you, trying to help out if i can. great that he eats frozen. LRS reef frenzy gets all my finicky eaters to go crazy
I feel you about their eyes, they pretend to understand, but you really know their like "what the heck are Cyanobacteria and copepods" [emoji23]
