Hi guys. I have been on the. Forum for around two weeks now but never really introduced myself. I'm a self funded thirteen year old who started with a 10 gallon guppy tank around 3 years ago. I then got a 37 gallon and was still lacking space... Two ten gallons and a 55 gallon later I was starting to get happy. Then we had to move. I managed to keep most my fish but only transferred the 55. It is still running freshwater. I knew that if I was going to have to get rid of that much, I was going to do saltwater for my new tank. Staring with my 37 gallon for salt, I got started over a month or so and got ready with supplies. It took four months before I upgraded to a 75. So here are some photos and hello from my tank and I in Indiana.

welcome in,,torch that anthelia before its too late

I know. The thing is it is actually spreading really slow and looks really nice. I'm transitioning into more aggressive corals that should kill it off any ways. If not how do I kill it off

Welcome to R2R! Looks great and I'm very impressed that you have funded this on your own!

You won't find much that will kill that stuff, it'll just go around it. If you like it, try to isolate it somewhere that it can't reach out to another rock and spread. Its not bad to look at, but it is a weed, and will take over if you let it. I grew a sump full of it on a tank I used to have.

You've got a lot of varied experience on here, so never be afraid to ask a question. A lot of help at your fingertips.

welcome! nice looking tank! I started at the age of 17 with salt water you're going to do great and learn a ton here!
the anthela can grow out of control fast, a little hot fresh water in a turkey baster to the base of it wont throw off your salinity and will kill it off so you can peel it from the base
