I don't know what type of Zoa this is. Maybe its not a Zoa.
It is quite unhappy at the moment as I had to do a H2O2 bath.
Was covered in GHA, my fault totally, and being cured.

So two things.
What type.
Is this a pest on the side of it or is this a branch that's growing?
The new tentacles have grown out of the bottom not the side like this.

looks like a random polyp growing out the side. It happens occaisonally.

Careful with that bath. I killed a lot that way. But the algae always lived.

I hear you and thanks for the warning.
I dipped it to get rid of the GHA, and inspect it for other pests.
I have had it for several months in a temp 110g tank and its time to be transferred to its new home, in the 140.
