My clown tang is 2.5inch. Blue and sail are 3 and a bit, I put them all in at the same time. But my clown is just a jerk. He pulled the sailfin apart and ripped his sail. Luckily it heals quickly. And at the moment he has really taken a dislike to my blue. She goes and hids in her sleeping rock. But he can still get to her tail. And really pulls it, bluey had a little bit of white spot. But that's cleared up. Juts worried the stress may bring it back I feed them all well. And during feeding time. All is well, and sometimes they do all swim together. But then. Bam. Attack mode
I tried to catch him last night. But just damaged my green hammer instead

Clown tangs are aggressive fish and tend to get worse as they get bigger. How big is the tank?

Im about ready to evict my 4” jerk who thinks my tank belongs to him. He is chastising the 2nd powder blue in my tank and will not win this time. I will give him to someone with an 8” porcupine puffer and see how he likes the aggression !!

Redsea 425xl. 3 tangs total. He is the smallest.. Would a yellow tang even it up? Or make it worse... Don't want a purple or powder blue.

Hahaha!

Yeah
Point taken!

I'll fire up the bbq. See what clown tang tastes like..

Clown and the Red Sea Clown (Sohal) are perhaps the most aggressive of the tangs.

Do you think it will sort it self out. Or only get worse..? I know hard to tell..
I purposely got a bigger blue and sailfin. But made Jo difference..
Incidently. He was best buddies with a big lipped tank. In the 170l tank! No aggressive at all.

I was thinking about adding a clown tang to my tank, but I don't think I'm going to do it now. My yellow and flame fin had a little bought when I added the yellow, but they have worked it out in just a day and are both doing well and even swim together.

i have one in my 120 and added him last he's with a yellow tang and a purple its been about 2 years the yellow is the most aggressive i notice if i don't keep them well fed there is some slight aggression but not much i feed pellet once a day and a cube once a day then a sheet of nori about once a week. i think the key was adding him last
