Noticed something weird happening. Not sure what to make of this. It looks like innards of the meat coral coming out of the bottom along with pellets that it has eaten. What could have caused this, and what should I do?!

I've also noticed tissue receding underneath :(

That looks normal to me.I believe its part of the stomach comes out to digest food.Don't mess with it , the more you touch them and move them around you could damage them, big risk for bacterial infection!! It only takes an infection a few days to wipe them out.

Very interesting. I hope it's just it feeding. I only handled it long enough to snap a reference picture and move it to an area with less flow.

Well today I tried feeding it and it completely rejected the food, puffed up, and started expelling red stringy mist. I also noticed a little more exposed skeleton underneath when it puffed up.

Did water test and everything came out fine. All other corals are doing great including many Lps and Sps.

Do not touch it... place in low flow and extremely low light. Don't try feeding either, just let it simmer. With any luck he might recover, but he's very upset right now. Keep an eye on things picking at it as well.

Today he was open again like normal, but closed up smaller than normal after the lights went off. Haven't touched or fed it.
