So I have been wanting to try and put a few sps corals in my 10g nano reef. However I cant do any that are very demanding in par.
My par is relatively low (I dont have a par meter) because from my understanding euphillia is lower in par requirements and it is at the very top of my rockwork and looks great in color and growth. I also have a green monticap growing next to it that is doing great as well.

I guess my main question is what types of branching sps would work in a setup like this or if they could even work. (Branching as in any acros, birdsnest or branching montipora)

Sorry if this is confusing I can specify further. This post is wrote while extremely tired haha. Ignore the fact all coral is closed in the picture it was taken shortly after lights on but this is my layout. I was planning sps on the very top under the powerhead as there is high flow in that spot and it's the highest point.

If your M. capricornis is doing well and growing, I'd give you the green light for most montipora, pavona, tubinaria, psammiacora, stylophora, sertiopora etc etc.

Acropora might be a different story but if you have success with the other genus' of corals I mentioned, you could try a ORA scripps stag(acropora micropathalma) or green slimer (acropora yongei)

Nice looking setup btw!

Thank you! And thank you! I need to take a better picture when I get home this is from a month ago it has filled in great! :)

I have found that acro's like a red planet or pc rainbow are a "easier" of the acro species. But I also had good luck with acro's in my pico's but everyone's tanks are different.
