Decided to turn off my gfo/carbon reactor for a few weeks or so to see if I am able to get any delectable no3 and po4 from my test kits. But I am wondering, will the media in the reactor be fine to sit stagnate in the reactor for a while? Or should I just not be lazy and empty it out. lol Thanks!

Don't be lazy. It can harbor unwanted stuff if it sits without running. I know not tumbling bio pellets will result in anaerobic conditions and the possible production of hydrogen sulfide.
