I have a IM fusion 10. I have the desktop media reactor as well. I have the ghost skimmer in the skimmer chamber. What would you use the reactor for. I can see how you could customize it to what you need. Maybe I don't need to use it.
Phosphate: .03
Alkalinity: 10.9
Nitrate: 3
Calcium:420

Thoughts?

Thanks for the time,
michael

You might start with just some biological media for extra bacteria surface area, and monitor your nitrate and phosphate, and see how things go. Drop a sachet of carbon in once in a while. If your phosphates start to rise, you could use GFO, but be careful in a tank that small if you have any corals, as even a small amount of GFO could strip all the phosphate in a tank that size, to the detriment of your corals.

Your phos. and nitrates look good over here so I don't think you need it but... that's JMO :)

Thanks for the input. Sometimes you get ideas from outside that you never thought of.

Best,

On the extra bio filtration idea, how fast a flow would you want thru the reactor?
