Media Reactor

Started my first media reactor this morning - running some phosban to battle high phosphate levels. Hopefully it helps... I've got a couple of monti frags turning brown.

Anyone else had good luck with a media reactor with gfo?

Fyi- It needs to lightly tumble between the foam pads, it looks like it is either to much flow??

I feel media reactors are great, especially for P04 control. Like said before you want it to have a nice tumble going on in the chamber. You can tell the flow was way to much because it blew the foam up.

I have the flow set to where it's barely tumbling... "simmering" as marine depot describes it in their videos.
