Medicated tank to Display?

I'm glad you posted this question. I just recently started quarantining my fish so I'm new to this as well. This was a good question for many of us. I did some research on previous threads and this is what I found. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/acclimitisation.441613/#post-5032164 . I hope some veterans post their thoughts on this as well. :-)

I agree that the amount of transfer would be negligible and you shouldn't worry. I do qt a little differently in that I strip the meds out with carbon after a full course and then observe in the qt for a week or two (massive over kill I know) just to let the fish recover a little before introducing to the display and equally it gives you a chance to see that the treatment was effective.

I do the same and that also affords me a two week medication free observation period before going into DT(just to make sure).

I move the fish to a bucket with tank water making sure to let net drip for few seconds before placing in bucket. Then I net the fish out to DT letting water drip as well before taking to DT. Maybe just my OCD kicking in.
