Hi All
In hospital tank with Cupramine can we also use Kanaplex and /or Metroplex at the same time for bacterial infection ?
On a side question Can stomenalla snails and aptasia live in 0.8 Cupramine in the hospital ?
Thanks

Yes, copper (Cupramine) can be used at the same time as Kanaplex, metro and Furan2 - when absolutely necessary. Though it's better to treat separately if possible. That's awfully tough on a fish's liver, kidneys, etc.
Suggest to give acriflavine or Ruby Reef Rally baths to hold off bacterial issues, until the ich/velvet copper treatment is over. Then treat with antibiotics.
Here's an excellent link where Humblefish discusses the issue: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/the-bacterial-infection-predicament.310311/#post-3816129

Copper can kill inverts and corals rather easily.

I’ve actualky had a large hermit crab and a couple pencil urchins survive several full cycles of copper that I was unaware were in the tank (forgot about them and thought they died). They’re still with me today.

Anyway, that’s definitely the exception and not the rule, copper will dust most inverts.
