Hi,
I am treating my fish with chloroquine phosphate for Cryptocaryon. There is also some sign of Hexamita . Can I use Metronidazle for hexamita in the same time? Is there any interaction with these medicament?
Your attention to my question is very important. Answer me urgently please.

Hi, thank you.
What do you mean with CP? Is that Cupramin? Or is it Chloroquine Phosphate?

Agreed. I have cp and metro running together right now.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Would you inform me about dose and the procedure that you are using please?

I dose cp (chloroquine phosphate) in a hospital or quarantine tank at 45mg/gallon, using Rx chloroquine Phosphate. I will go up to 60mg/ gallon for fish with an active infection.

For metro, follow dosing instructions on your product. I am using seachem metroplex currently and the dosage is 1 level scoop (scoop included in packaging) per 10 US gallons. Repeat every 2 days up to 3 weeks.

Hope that is helpful. For more specific information check the stickies that humblefish has at the top of the page. They contain everything you could need to know about CP or metro.

Best of luck
