Since this is my fist tank I'm wondering what medications people generally keep on hand for tank emergencies/sick fish/ etc....

I keep a second tank and extra salt water. Also, prazipro, copper, formalin.... I'd have to go down and do an inventory, but I know there's other things in my cabinet. What I have is a result of what diseases I have encountered though. Wish I had had them prior to needing them. I'm not sure what the shelf life is on some of these products. So you may want to keep that in account before buying things.
