Does anyone have medium/large sized tanks stocked with smaller fish and few or no medium/large fish?

I'm looking to stock my current tank with fish like gobies, cardinals, blennies, etc, and would like to hear other folk's experience regarding this topic.

If you have pictures that you want to share, that'd be great.

I have done something similar with my 75. I don't have any pics. I previously had an 80g that I did the same thing with. I have been really happy both times. The only "big" fish I have is a Purple tang. He swims around the whole tank and the rest stay in their small territories.

I am doing the same thing as soon as i rehome my huge volitans. Im going for as many tiny fish as i can fit in my 150 or 75. The biggest fish i want is a green mandarin pair. I am getting a 6 line wrasse too...i love them. In the mix will most likely be a school of bengai cardinals. The pajamas were cool, but not this time around.
And some cheap chromis to help stir the water. Dont forget the shrimp gobies. Everyone needs them popping out like a whack a mole! A do like the hawkfish too...there are some awesome ones that remind me of starfox for some reason haha.
I want one fish that is huge in my 150 who is peaceful...big tang maybe a genetically stunted dolphin from the university...

My biggest fish in my 55 is gonna be a Midas blenny. I have a coral beauty, a royal gramma, two dragonets and my personal favorite...two hi-fin gobies that live in my pistol shrimp hole. Right now I have a starki damsel and he is a pain in the butt. Chases everything and chased my original Midas blenny out of the tank. RIP Goldie.
