I don't have any first-hand experience with them, but marine catfishes grow pretty fast and will eat anything they can fit in their mouth.

"33cm max size" probably 10cm size fish give or take being mouth sized?

Depends on the shape of the fish, but if the fish were torpedo shaped, I would think it can easily swallow a fish half it's size, maybe a little larger.
