Medium sized aggressive tank upgrade

It's still in an aclimation box so I'll try that soon. As an update on the copperband, it has finally begun to pick at mussels that I have taken a tip of the shell off of and it eats blackworm from a pipette, so pretty successful so far.

The wedge in the tail is throwing me off :/

Is it a thing to keep multiple Moorish Idols together or should it be one per tank?

Unless they are a bonded pr they should be kept singly. MI can be pretty aggressive toward each other.

I can't remember if I told you or not but the three toadfish live together with absolutely no issues. I think they are three different species also. If I sit near the tank for a while they actually seem to communicate with each other using grunts/croaks in a pattern that is similar to a heartbeat. It starts off quiet and builds up to be quite loud.

Would a Solar boxfish be alright with a snowflake eel and fuzzy lion? The eel and lion are quite small still

It should be fine. My concerns would be if the snowflake did try to eat/hunt/attack the boxfish the boxfish could release it's toxin, but I would consider that pretty unlikely. The other concern would be the boxfish nipping at the lionfish.

They are a highly intelligent, curious fish. They explore their surroundings with their mouth. I would think a younger smaller boxfish would be safer than a more mature specimen.

Obviously just an observation, but their mouths look very un-threatening to me
