Hello all,
I know appetite suppression could be one of the effects of some meds we give like copper and prazi. I have a chrysurus angelfish currently in DT. It ate pellets with much gusto prior to copper. I added copper slowly and it still ate much until I performed an FW dip (to confirm flukes). It still ate but not as much like last time. I then proceeded with Prazipro (I just wanted to be sure it’s free of flukes and worms) and suddenly it turned down on pellets. It ate a few pellets here and there but not as much like last time, it would even sometimes spit it out. But here’s the surprising thing: it loves mysis and voraciously eats them post-prazipro. I’m not sure if it’s really appetite suppression or something else entirely. Any thoughts? Thanks!
